As Human Resources Generalist for Integrated Staffing, Alex brings experience in Human Resources and Health and Safety from a diverse range of industries including environmental, health care and transportation. Prior to joining Integrated Staffing, Alex worked with JD Irving’s Transportation Division, at Universal Truck and Trailer in Moncton, New Brunswick. Having spent time in this Human Resources and Safety focused role, Alex has gained an understanding of the value and impact that Human Resources and Safety can have on an organization’s success. Prior to joining Universal, Alex worked as a Junior Human Resources Advisor for Northwood in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was during her time at Northwood, that Alex developed further insight into the importance of recruitment practices, as she assisted in the recruitment, selection an onboarding for the Pandemic Relief Team during at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Originally from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Alex completed her Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, where she majored in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and received her Certificate in Human Resource Management. Alex is an active member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources and is currently working towards her CPHR designation.
