The Role
Working in a team environment and being required to stand for a long period of time, Sorters for this company will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sort incoming organic material
- Remove contaminates
- Perform sort line walk arounds
- Clean sort line as needed
- Power wash organic carts on a rotational basis
- Tip organic green carts when needed
- Yard maintenance / snow removal as needed
What You Can Expect
- $16.00/hour plus vacation pay;
- Monday to Friday day time hours with possibility of overtime on Saturday’s;
- Public transit available;
- Managing waste matters!
Requirements
Positive, can-do attitude is essential in the team setting. You need to have great hand-eye coordination and have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment. You must provide your own CSA approved steel-toed boots.
